Roberta Gelb is Founder and CEO at Chelsea Office Systems.
Roberta Gelb is a well-known professional, having established authority on productivity, software and office systems solutions for law firms and businesses. She has substantial expertise in systems design, implementation, training and the "human factors" associated with effective use and implementation of technology. In 1984, Roberta founded Chelsea Office Systems, a unique software consulting and training company that provides custom productivity recommendation, application programming and development, education, and on-site support to law firms and corporations. Roberta was a member of the Legaltech News Editorial Advisory Board and serves on the Program Committee of the Professional Legal Trainers Group. She is extremely active in the community, served on the Board of the NY State Breast Cancer Network; the Scientific Advisory Board of Consano, and volunteering for animal rescue programs in the New York area.

Bob Ambrogi
Bob Ambrogi is a lawyer and journalist who has been writing and speaking about legal technology and innovation for nearly three decades. He writes the award-winning blog LawSites, hosts the podcast about legal innovation, LawNext, hosts the weekly legal tech journalists’ roundtable, Legaltech Week, and is a contributor to Above the Law. He is also cofounder of the LawNext Legal Technology Directory.
In 2011, Bob was named to the inaugural Fastcase 50, honoring “the law’s smartest, most courageous innovators, techies, visionaries and leaders.” In 2017, he received the Yankee Quill award for journalism from the Academy of New England Journalists and was honored by the ABA Journal as a Legal Rebels Trailblazer. In 2023, ABA Techshow presented him with a lifetime achievement award.
Earlier in his career, he was editor-in-chief of the National Law Journal, then the nation’s largest legal newspaper, and editorial director of American Lawyer Media's Litigation Services Division, overseeing an array of online and print publications. Before joining ALM, Bob was founding editor of the national newspaper Lawyers USA and editor-in-chief of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. For his service to the legal community as editor of MLW, the Massachusetts Bar Association honored him with its President's Award.
In his law practice, Bob represents newspapers and the news media and serves as executive director of the Massachusetts Newspaper Publishers Association, where he lobbies and advocates for a free press and open government. A graduate of Boston College Law School, Bob is a fellow of the College of Law Practice Management and past-president of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation.
Nicole Black is a Principal Legal Insight Strategist at 8am.
Nicole Black is a Rochester, New York attorney, author, journalist, and Principal Legal Insight Strategist at 8am, the team behind MyCase, CasePeer, DocketWise, and LawPay legal billing and payment processing software. She is the nationally recognized author of "Cloud Computing for Lawyers" (2012) and co-author of "Social Media for Lawyers: The Next Frontier" (2010), both published by the American Bar Association. She was also the co-author of "Criminal Law in New York," a Thomson Reuters treatise. She writes regular columns for Above the Law, ABA Journal, and The Daily Record, has authored hundreds of articles for other publications, and regularly speaks at conferences regarding the intersection of law and emerging technologies. Joe Davis is the Practice Solutions Manager for Fried Frank
Joe has spent over 25 years in legal technology at law firms, in the corporate legal space, and at legal tech start-ups. He co-chairs ILTA’s Local Experience Council and is a frequent speaker and author on topics including AI, KM and enterprise content management. He earned his MBA from NJIT and completed an AI program at MIT. Joe has also been a teacher, an entrepreneur, a musician, a real estate investor and a DJ in a flea market.
