Mischa works with firm management developing training programs for staff, supports teams which deliver CLE training to attorneys, oversees a team of administrators for the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS), and manages the features and uses of the LMS. Before joining Savvy Training & Consulting, she served as a senior leader in a DC law firm for 10 years, collaborating with firm leaders and managing all aspects of the staff and operations. Colleen spent 5 life-changing years as a NYC school teacher and continues her commitment to our kids through her work on the board of Champions for Children DC . No matter the mission, she leads with curiosity, authenticity, and commitment.
Colleen earned a B.S. from The College of William and Mary, an M.S. in Education from Mercy College, and professional certifications in Leadership Coaching, Organizational Development, and Strategic Communication from Georgetown University.

Scott Baron is the Information Technology Trainer at Simpson Thacher
Scott brings nearly three decades of experience in technology training, with a strong focus on the legal industry. His tech career began in the late 1980s as a mainframe programmer and has since spanned multiple sectors, including magazine publishing at Condé Nast—where he acquired a memorable Anna Wintour story he’s always happy to share. His training career started in 1995 while at Condé Nast.
In 2004, Scott transitioned from publishing to the legal industry, starting at Reed Smith. He later joined DLA Piper, where he spent seventeen years honing his expertise, before moving to Simpson Thacher in 2022 as an IT Trainer and content creator.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife, their three cats, and their black lab, Zora. A lifelong gamer, he and his wife are also enthusiastic sumo fans and travel to Japan when possible to immerse themselves in sumo-related events and culture.
