Cindy is the IT Education and UX manager at Blank Rome LLP and has been in the IT Education field for more than 25 years with 15 of those years in legal. She finds being involved in all aspects of the legal tech environment fun and interesting.  She enjoys the challenges and the rewards associated with helping people to get the most out of technology, and she is inspired by seeing the lightbulb light for a learner.  Cindy loves collaborating with others and learning new things, she believes that one of the most important roles of an effective teacher is to continue to learn. Whether it be taking classes, creating courseware, reading, observing, or questioning, you will often find Cindy with some form of learning at her fingertips.

Cindy is a former two term Co-Vice President/Secretary of PLTG.

To balance out all that Tech, Cindy enjoys creative endeavors such as photography and photoshop, crafts with the kids and grandkids, and many Arts related projects.

In addition to working with firms such as Heller Ehrman and Weil Gotshal, Moji has also worked with companies in various industries such as the Blue Man Group, People Magazine, and Goldman Sachs.

Even though Moji started as a computer engineer at Lehigh University, her eventual theatre degree and minor in computer science foreshadowed a flourishing career in technology training.

Mojisola Shabi hails from Brooklyn, NY, likes listening to British radio shows and makes short films.

Karen Marie Kolb – Davis, Polk and Wardwell LLP

Karen Kolb is a Training Manager at Davis Polk and Wardwell LLP. Karen’s career experience includes 20+ years in technology sales, training and consulting, coordinator, and manager. She’s enjoys interacting with others, solving problems and keeping people motivated to learn in this age of mobile distraction.

Karen has a BBA in Marketing Management and an MS in Education Technology.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, travel, theater, history and all areas of fitness including running, spin classes and barre.

Lorraine Kropp – Blank Rome LLP
Co-Vice President/Secretary

Lorraine is an IT Education Specialist at Blank Rome and has more than 30 + years of IT Education experience all of them in the Legal industry. Prior to Blank Rome, Lorraine was an IT Administrator at Silverman Acampora, LLP and Training Manager at White & Case LLP. 

Lorraine enjoys teaching and helping people discover IT solutions that build efficiency. She has established herself as a go to person for resolving challenges and provides a positive environment, encouraging others to utilize available technological resolutions. 

Lorraine loves spending time with family and friends and interacting with others.

Dawn Bolston is the Senior Technical Trainer at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver, and Jacobson LLP and has been with the firm for 21 years.  She is a graduate of Pace University with a degree in Human Resource Management and a minor in Information Systems.  She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology at Purdue University Global.  Dawn also holds a Microsoft Expert Certification in Word 2016.  

Dawn has been a Trainer for 25 years and began her career as a Training Consultant for Productivity Point International (PPI) before transitioning to the legal technology arena.  Before joining Fried Frank, Dawn worked at Graubard Mollen & Miller and Strook & Strook & Lavan LLP.  

Dawn is a former two-term president of PLTG (2004 and 2016) has served on the board of Directors as C0-Vice President/Secretary and on the Programs and Events and Bylaws committees.  

Dawn enjoys dancing, quality time with her husband Michael, and working with the youth at her church in her spare time.

Dan Earley – Paul Hastings LLP
Co-Vice President/Membership

Dan has worked in the technology field since 1995. He started by working with a start-up company and a consulting firm. His 25 year legal training experience began with Morrison & Foerster in 1998 and he has been with Paul Hastings since 2006. Amongst many roles, he has always been a liaison between the technology and the business. Currently, he consults internally and is a content creator in his role as a Digital Learning Specialist.

Dan has helped to edit e-learning technology books and is passionate about helping others to understand how technology can assist them in their daily lives and support the business.

John Attinger – Wilson Allen
Vendor Representative

John is the senior director of training at Wilson Allen with responsibility for managing the training components of all client work. Prior to joining Wilson Allen, he served as director of training and security for Capensys. Previously, John worked for 6 years at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, a top-15 global law firm, as the technology training manager. In this role, John managed a staff of four trainers in NY, London and Warsaw, oversaw all training-related projects, managed an IT budget, incorporated new technologies and creative ideas into the training program, and designed an online university.

Previously John also worked at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and O’Melveny & Myers LLP as a senior IT trainer and a regional training coordinator. John has a special interest in the use of blended e-learning to engage students, and has project managed courses at an online university.
